Finding out that there were alternate ways for me to use was like a tiny miracle to me. Needing to hide just the drug was much easier than having to hide the drugs all the tools that came with it.
I bounced between the shooting and the snorting depending on where I was using. It was much easier to hide in the bathroom for a minute to do lines then it was to find a safe hidden place to shoot up. Shooting up was still my preferred choice, but it wasn’t always the most convenient.
I was at a point where I would get high every time I saw the chance. It didn’t take me long to realize how easy it was to find others that were doing the same thing. We would often gather in one place and share stories and drugs. For a long time, I didn’t have to worry about paying for drugs ( addicts are very sharing people believe it or not).
The drugs were always there. Not always my drug of choice so I quickly began to expand my drug intake. From weed to dope to coke and pills I even tried crack a time or two. Some drugs I liked and had a lot of fun doing others didn’t keep in interested but no matter what at the end of the day the one thing I always wanted more than anything was the Heroin.
The high was just more then I could ever really explain. The feelings it exposed me to were in my mindset pure bliss. It kept me coming back time and time again regardless of what other drugs I had access to the nights always ended with a needle in my arm (or a straw to the nose).

I love the way you are setting the stage in this ‘intro’ of sorts. Like the beginning of your drug use and what lead you there.
Thank you so very much. I truly appreciate all the support you have showered me with
