This book was a random find. It all started with Facebook watch, believe it or not.

When Facebook started doing the whole show thing, one caught my eye: The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly. As soon as I found out it was a book, I knew I had to have it.

This story is captivating. You will follow Minnow on her journey, which is filled with chaos, and you will laugh and cry.

After Minnow escapes the cult she’s grown up in, she finds herself being forced to face her trauma and her demons.

As she slowly learns to trust those around her and her desire for her story to be heard grows, you learn of all the horrific things this young girl has seen and been through.

The storytelling is absolutely amazing, and more than once, I thought of Minnow and her journey while the book was closed.

This was a 5-star read for me and one of my go-to recommendations when giving them.

Just a small note;  it’s an emotional story, so if you’re not looking to ugly cry or be filled with rage, at least once, I wouldn’t pick this up just yet.
